Casa de la Paz Bayfront Bed & Breakfast (referred to in this Privacy Statement as "we" or "CDLP") recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by customers of our websites, guests of our inn, and subscribers to our email newsletters.
We created this policy with a fundamental respect for our customers’
right to privacy and to guide our relationships with our guests.

offered by CDLP.
Information Collection and Use
CDLP collects information from our website customers, guests, and newsletter
subscribers. In this section of our Privacy Statement, we describe the type of
information we collect and how we use it to provide better services to our
customers.
Reservations
When submitting a reservation request to CDLP via our website,
customers will be prompted to enter personal data such as mailing
address, phone numbers, and email addresses as well as credit card
information.
For internal purposes, we use this information to communicate
with guests and provide requested services, and for our website
customers, to provide a more personalized experience on our sites.
We use aggregate demographic information to improve our service
and understand where our guests are coming from to improve our marketing
efforts.
For our services that require payment, such as certain events,
products, and subscriptions, we also collect credit card information,
such as account name, credit card number, and expiration date. This
information is used for billing purposes only, and is not otherwise
shared.
Email Newsletters
If customers wish to subscribe to our email newsletters, either
from our site or while visiting our inn, using our manual signup
method, we ask for contact information such as name, email address,
and occasionally, demographic information.
We use this information in the same manner as we use contact information
in the reservations process described above. Our newsletter subscribers
can unsubscribe using the instructions listed at the end of the
email newsletter.
Surveys and Contests
From time to time, we invite customers to provide information
via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests
is completely voluntary and the customer therefore has a choice
whether to disclose requested contact information such as name and
mailing address as well as demographic information such as zip code
or job title.
In addition to other uses set forth in this policy, contact information
collected in connection with surveys and contests is used to notify
the winners and award prizes, to monitor or improve the use and
satisfaction of the website, and may be shared with sponsors of
such surveys or contests. We are not, however, responsible for the
privacy policies of the sponsors. For each survey and/or contest,
we will publish what information and whom the information will be
shared with so the customer can check the specific privacy policy
before responding.
Communications with Us
We may retain emails and other information sent to us for our
internal administrative purposes, and to help us to serve customers
better.
For our internal purposes, we gather date, time, browser type,
navigation history, and IP address of all customers to our site.
This information does not contain anything that can identify customers
personally. We use this information for our internal security audit
log, trend analysis, and system administration, and to gather broad
demographic information about our customer base for aggregate use.

Other than as set forth above, we do not share personally identifiable
information with any other company.
We will also disclose information we maintain when required to

or other legal obligation, such as in response to a law enforcement

and is transmitted to us securely. In addition, access to all of
our guests' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned
above, is restricted. Only employees who need the information to
perform a specific job, such as a reservation clerk, are granted
access to personally identifiable information. Finally, the servers
on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in
a secure environment.

Our websites contain links to other sites. CDLP is not responsible
for the privacy practices or content of such other sites. We encourage
our customers to be aware when they leave our site and to read the
privacy statements of each website to which we may link that may
collect personally identifiable information.

this page so our customers are aware of what information we collect,
how we use it, and under which circumstances, if any, we disclose
