Five exhibit galleries within a collection of historic houses,
courtyards, and gardens create a city block of history in downtown

OLD TOWN TROLLEY TOURS OF ST AUSUSTINE
“See the Best First” onboard Old Town Trolley Tours of St.
Augustine. The tour covers over 100 sights of interest and has 20
stops where you can hop on of off to sightsee, shop, or dine. Board
the tour at the Old Jail located at 167 San Marcos Avenue. Free

PENA-PECK HOUSE
The House was constructed in ca. 1750 by order of the King of Spain.
Built of native coquina stone, it is the finest surviving First
Spanish Period home in the city. Portrait Gallery reflects on the
works of the 19th century Florida artists Marin Johnson Heade, W.

PLAZA DE LA CONSTITUTION
The Plaza de la Constitution commemorates the arrival of
constitutional government in the United States. St. Augustine’s
Concerts in the Plaza, the free outdoor concert series held in the
historic Plaza de la Constitution every Thursday Beginning on April
5 and concluding on September 3, concerts are on Thursday evenings
and run from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
POTTER’S WAX
MUSEUM
Inside you’ll be up close and personal with over 160 of the world’s
most famous personalities sculpted in lifelike wax. Potter’s also

RIPLEY’S BELIEVE IT OR NOT

FREEDOM

SPANISH QUARTER VILLAGE
The Spanish Quarter is a living history museum. See costumed
interpreters re-enact St. Augustine during the 1740 Spanish period.
Tradesmen on display include blacksmithing, carpentry,

ALLIGATOR FARM
Located in historic St. Augustine, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm
Zoological Park is a lushly landscaped zoo that has a rich 113 year
history. It is the only zoo in the world to display all 23 species
of crocodilians. The newest exhibits include a playground called
KidZone, a quarter acre of African bird exhibit and Maximo, a 15’3”
Saltwater Crocodile.

The center offers monthly art exhibitions at 22 Marine Street. Hours

story of Henry Flagler through unpublished photographs and
artifacts. Model trains replicate Flagler’s Florida East Coast
Railway. An Indian village, weapons, Victorian dolls are also part

Constructed between 1871 and 1874, the Lighthouse offers visitors a

NATIONAL SHRINE
The first national shrine of the Greek Orthodox Church remembers the
first colony of Greeks to arrive in the city. Located at 41 St.

THE OLDEST WOODEN SCHOOL HOUSE IN THE USA
Located just inside the City Gates at 14 St. George Street. The
automated professor and students dressed in period clothing relate
the school’s history, explain the barter system, subjects studied,
and the use of the dunce cap. Daily 9 to 5pm. Closed Dec. 25. Call

THE RED TRAIN
SIGHTSEEING TOUR

TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH
In 1825, the cornerstone of this church was laid. Even though
extensive remodeling took place at the turn of the century, the
cypress shingle spire is still the same. Located on the corner of
King and St. George Streets, it is open for visitors 9 to 4pm daily.

WORLD GOLF
HALL OF FAME
Located just 12 miles from downtown St. Augustine, just off I-95
(exit 323) on International Golf Parkway. Tour the museum and then
head over to the biggest pro shop you’ve ever seen. Enjoy a casual
lunch at Bill Murray’s Caddy Shack. The World Golf Hall of Fame is
open Monday through Saturday 10 to 6pm, and Sundays 12 to 6pm. Call

XIMENEZ-FATIO HOUSE
Experience life as a tourist in the early 19th century. Built in
1798 out of coquina by a Spanish merchant, the house is registered
as a national historic place. Located on 20 Aviles Street. Open
Thursday to Monday, 11 to 4pm and Sunday 1 to 4pm. Call
